Week 1
In Class
The first class of applications was really intriguing. We were shown a presentation, from which I learnt so much about Red Burns. Applications were Red Burn's class, and learning about who she was and how she started ITP was really interesting. Then there were the more generic aspects, learning about the structure of the class, and the playful experiences project in GERP groups, which seems really interesting. I could have never pictured myself being really excited about a class with a speaker series, but this was the first time that I was actually glad to do so. The class ended with a community guidelines activity, which I was honestly confused about, because I had misunderstood the question. Still, it was my first time interacting with so many people in our cohort that I got a little shy even to share that I had misunderstood the question. Then we ended it by everyone reading one-liners from Red Burns's core philosophy for students.
